Lighting for offices and workplaces.
Many of us spend as much of our waking hours at work as at home. Often indoors and in electric light. That the right lighting, properly adjusted, facilitates the ability to do a good job and be productive, has been established in several studies. The work environment in an office is subject to regulations and standards, but we know that we can provide added value – in the form of our solid knowledge of the effects of light on health and well-being. When lighting is tailored to the needs of the individual and what they are doing, this contributes to establishing a good working environment for each employee.
Let us guide you in the right direction
There are different types of lighting solutions suitable for different tasks and activities at the workplace. The standard EN 12464-1 for lighting of indoor workplaces serves as the foundation, and in our lighting guides, we describe how to make thoughtful and well-informed decisions for different types of spaces.

Recipe of Light
With our digital tool Recipe of Light, we can easily visualise the differences between lighting solutions. Not only must you consider visual comfort and economic aspects, but also the impact on people and the environment.
Light.
For Human Well-Being.
With our lighting solutions, we want to contribute to sustainable work environments with people in focus. Human Centric Lighting comprises lighting solutions that meet human needs by means of a combination of daylight and electric lighting. Working from a scientific basis, we at Fagerhult are developing lighting solutions that have a positive impact on physical and mental well-being.

Innovative and customised lighting
Platinan is one of our largest innovation projects, and it challenged us to think in new ways. To create a minimalist and linear luminaire, we needed to find the perfect balance between design, light comfort and energy efficiency. Through close dialogue and by stepping outside the box, we found the right solution and developed the customised Notor 36.
Recycling in new light
Aluminium is a uniquely durable material that can be recycled almost endlessly. But like all materials, it needs to be handled responsibly. Many of our luminaires have an extruded aluminium body, and we want to ensure that they can be optimally recycled in the future. In a joint pilot project with Hydro Extrusion Sweden focusing on circular processes, we have explored how we can utilise extruded aluminium – while maintaining material properties.
We meet the future with reuse
For eighty years, we have been working to develop new solutions, refine ideas, and utilise our resources. Under the name ReLight, formerly Re:Furbish, we offer the opportunity to upgrade the legacy technology in your luminaires – and extend their life cycle. We ensure that your reused luminaire achieves the highest quality, increases energy efficiency, and provides the same good light comfort as one of our newly manufactured luminaires.
